With an MBA and nearly two decades of corporate and nonprofit experience, she’s a true “utility player” who can lead and motivate, and who isn’t afraid to get dirty doing the hands-on work. She has a strong background in nonprofit, healthcare, and sports branding and communications, which includes working or consulting for: Mission Minded; Clementine Words; CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties; Neighbor to Neighbor; Nike, Inc.; University of Oregon Special Collections and University Archives; Friendship Bridge; Girls on the Run of the Rockies; Girls on the Run Portland Metro; 2008 US Olympic Team Trials–Track and Field; Prefontaine Classic; USA Track & Field; Mt. Julie is a farm girl from Nebraska. After receiving her BA in business and journalism from Augustana University, she spent six years in Oregon getting her MBA at the University of Oregon and working for Nike. She met her amazing husband Andy in Oregon and they moved to Colorado 10 years ago. Outside of work, Julie is a court appointed special advocate with CASA of Larimer County and an active volunteer with Girls on the Run of the Rockies. When she’s not working or volunteering, Julie and her husband love trail running in Rocky Mountain National Park and going on adventures with their two pups, Porter and Pansy.
